Cancellation Policy

At Radiant Spaces, we know that plans can change, and we aim to provide flexibility while ensuring fairness and transparency for both parties. This policy outlines your rights and our terms around cancellations and refunds, in accordance with European Union consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Directive and GDPR.
By making a booking or purchase with us, you agree to the terms below.
1. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)
If you make a booking or order as a consumer within the EU, you are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period from the date you confirm your booking. During this time, you may cancel without providing any reason and receive a refund.
Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases:
Event hire or decoration services that have begun or been completed with your consent.
Customised or personalized products, once production has started.
Sealed goods (for health or hygiene reasons) that have been opened after delivery.
2. Cancellations After the Cooling-Off Period
If your right to cancel under the cooling-off period does not apply, or after the cooling off period, the following terms will be used to calculate your refund, based on how much notice you give prior to the scheduled event:
More than 30 days before the event: 100% of the deposit will be refunded, excluding costs for any personalised products already created.
Between 7 and 30 days before the event: 75% of the deposit will be refunded (25% retained).
Less than 7 days before the event: No refund of the deposit (100% retained).
These fees reflect reasonable compensation for the time, preparation, and potential loss of other bookings.
3. Post-Event Deposit Retention for Damages or Cleaning
After your event, your deposit may be partially or fully withheld if:
There is damage to the tent, equipment, or any rental items.
There is a need for excessive cleaning due to misuse or neglect beyond normal wear and tear.
We will provide documentation and photographs if such deductions are necessary.

5. Refund Processing
For cancellations, refunds (where applicable) will be processed using your original payment method within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice.
If there is no damage or excess cleaning charges, your full deposit will be returned within 14 days of the last day of your event.
